Drink Cider With Confidence

In the fall in the Appalachian Mountains, elderberries hang low and ripe.  Traditionally, this beautiful fruit was harvested for elderberry wine.  Inspired by tradition, we have infused our ten month bourbon barrel aged cider made from heirloom apples grown in the Greenbrier Valley with just the right amount of elderberries.  The result is a wonder of crisp fruity perfection.  Our processes are traditional and our ciders are unfiltered; expect and enjoy some bottle sediment and seasonal variation.  11% ABV

our first meads will be available anytime now.  we are proud to be releasing two styles of two year aged cyser.  a cyser is a style of mead where honey is added to our fresh pressed cider and fermented into wine.  The first of our cysers was aged on french and american oak. the reserve cyser was aged for one year in bourbon barrels.  both have been bottle aged for over a year now and we are excited to share them with you.

We're very proud to have a locally grown product that is produced in the Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia. Many thanks to all of you who have helped us along the way.  We have entered into a partnership with the country vintner of west virginia who will be distributing our products.  You can now expect to see hawk knob cider and mead across most of the state.  cheers, and enjoy the taste of tradition!
